20 new jobs created in Scotland

£150k Regional Selective Assistance award for financial and reporting software firm

Scottish Enterprise has awarded £150k to API Software Limited, trading as AutoRek, to help it develop specialist software and create up to 20 new high quality jobs at its offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) grant will help the company to further develop its financial control and regulatory reporting software products in order to enhance its competitiveness on the global stage.

Business Support Director at Scottish Enterprise, Eleanor Taylor said: “This grant will help safeguard and create up to 20 jobs in Scotland, which is a priority as we build a robust and sustainable economy. AutoRek is an innovative and internationally competitive company with a bright future – just the kind of company we want to see thrive in Scotland.”

Managing Director at AutoRek, Gordon McHarg, said “We’re at an exciting stage in our development as a company and are looking forward to working with Scottish Enterprise to realise the opportunities this grant will unlock for us. Scotland has provided an excellent base for us to build and expand, and we are glad to be able to help create these new products and jobs within the country.”

In March 2016 AutoRek was named by CIO Review as one of the 20 Most Promising Capital Market Technology Solutions Providers in its analysis of the sector worldwide. The company also has an office in London.
