Business finalists announced for Cameron House showdown
Twenty four finalists will be competing for the top spots across eight categories. The winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted by television and radio presenter Cathy McDonald on March 14 at Cameron House Hotel.
Organised by Scottish Enterprise Dunbartonshire, in partnership with main sponsor S3 Interactive and partner sponsors, West Dunbartonshire, East Dunbartonshire and Argyll & Bute Councils, the awards recognise excellence across the local business community.
The judging panel featuring local business experts had the difficult task of sifting through dozens of entries to identify the shortlist.
Scottish Enterprise Dunbartonshire’s operations director, Jim McAloon said:
"The standard of entrants this year was as high as I can remember. Every year the quality of the companies coming forward for consideration gets better and better reflecting the high quality of businesses we are now growing in Dunbartonshire.
"Not everyone can win an award, but in reaching this stage of the competition, these companies have already demonstrated business excellence.
"These awards are a real chance for us to recognise and reward leading entrepreneurs and showcase the very best Dunbartonshire has to offer."
Phil Johnston, managing director of S3 Interactive, the Awards’ main sponsor said:
"As a previous winner of one of these awards - I’m delighted that S3 Interactive has been able to lend our support to this prestigious event. Our business has more than trebled in size since we last won this award in 2004 and I’m sure success on the night will lead to a similar boost for the winning companies, I wish all the finalists well.”
The event is also supported by Clyde 2 and by QD Plastics who are providing the winners trophies.
