Glasgow named Future Cities Demonstrator

"Today's confirmation that Glasgow's bid for the TSB Future Cities Demonstrator has been successful is excellent news both for the city and for Scotland's transition towards a globally competitive low carbon economy.

"Essentially, the project allows businesses to test smart solutions for connecting and integrating city systems, and will help UK cities explore new approaches to developing and delivering a higher quality business environment, while reducing the environmental footprint and increasing quality of life and resilience to environmental change.
