Proact to create 50 new jobs in Scotland

Proact, Europe's leading storage integrator and cloud services enabler, today announces the creation of 50 new jobs at its European Operation and Support Centre based in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire. Scottish Development International is supporting the company to create new technology roles in the region.

Proact is creating a number of roles to support the expansion and development of its UK and European operations. The company is targeting skilled technology professionals with management, customer service and technical expertise. Proact is also looking to hire talented individuals and graduates wishing to build a career with the company.

Enterprise Minister Fergus Ewing said: “The Scottish Government and our enterprise agencies are working tirelessly to secure new jobs and investment to Scotland. Proact’s announcement to expand their Scottish operations and create 50 new jobs at their Bellshill base is testament to the skills and expertise of the local workforce.

“The decision of this growing technology firm to create new jobs highlights the talent we have in this industry, and also Scotland’s attractiveness as a place to do business.”
