Scotland’s Technology Show 2013

Scotland’s Technology Companies are helping to revolutionise businesses!

Scotland’s cutting-edge technology capabilities will be on show to a UK and international audience at Scotland’s Technology Show, being held in Glasgow on 11th June 2013 at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre. The event is expected to attract many hundreds of industry professionals, representing a diverse range of technologies, who will come together to see what Scotland has to offer, to network and to explore opportunities for international business development.

The event is free to attend for registered delegates and will provide opportunities to hear the latest thinking on a range of industry and technology topics. The one-day programme includes keynote addresses, peer exchange workshops, one-to-one meetings, interactive demo zones and exhibits from over 100 companies who will demonstrate cutting-edge technology products and services.

Neil Francis, director of technologies for Scottish Enterprise which is organising the event on behalf of the industry said: “Scotland's Technology Show will bring businesses together to learn more about new and emerging market opportunities, Scotland's capabilities in addressing these opportunities, to share best practice and to establish new contacts and networks.

“Scotland has a vibrant technology sector, where a range of forward-thinking companies are developing world-leading and innovative products. By showcasing Scotland’s capabilities to a wide audience, this event will give companies the knowledge and the inspiration to look at how developing innovative and cutting edge technology can help grow their business.”

The Show is delighted to welcome a number of exciting and truly global companies who will present on topics such as mobile technology, smart cities and how to take technology to new markets. Speakers already confirmed include Cisco, Microsoft, Amor Group, Skyscanner, Touch Bionics, Cloudtomo, Blipfoto, ESM Investments and Kelvin Capital, with more expected to be announced in the run up to the event.

Scottish and international companies can take part in a variety of ways. These include become an exhibitor, as a sponsor, by showcasing their company’s technology in one of the demo zones or simply as a delegate. Opportunities for becoming involved as an exhibitor, sponsor or in the demo zones will be on a first come, first served basis.
