Scottish Development International welcomes first Whole Foods Market shop in Scotland

Scottish Development International (SDI) has welcomed the opening of the first Scottish branch of the world's leading organic and natral grocery retailer, Whole Foods Market.

The shop, in Giffnock just outside Glasgow, was officially opened by Cabinet Minister for Rural Affairs, Richard Lochhead MSP and will create 140 new jobs.

Both SE and SDI have provided advice and guidance to Whole Foods Markets in Scotland and in the USA to enable the company to establish a base in Giffnock.
