Scottish Enterprise welcomes Navantia completing its acquisition of four Harland & Wolff sites

Scottish Enterprise welcomes the news that Navantia has completed its acquisition of four Harland & Wolff sites across the UK, including two in Scotland, with the deal expected to secure 1000 UK jobs.

Reuben Aitken, managing director of international operations at Scottish Enterprise, said, “Great to see the two Scottish Harland & Wolff yards have a solid future ahead of them under new ownership. We’ve already had discussions with Navantia about the Methil site and look forward to building a strong relationship with the company as it develops its ambitious plans.”
