Green, innovative and ethical approach to financial services welcomed by Scottish Enterprise as SFE launches new strategy
Scottish Enterprise Interim Chief Executive Linda Hanna welcomed the five-year strategy for Scotland’s financial services industry from Scottish Financial Enterprise:
“I am really pleased to see Scotland’s green, innovative and ethical approach to financial services set out clearly in this five year strategy.
"The financial services industry is very important to Scotland, with over 2,000 financial service businesses currently generating £13bn for the Scottish economy, and it is encouraging to see, through this strategy, the positive impact that the sector can bring to customers and communities while also supporting economic recovery.
"I look forward to continuing to work with SFE to further develop the financial services sector to create an inclusive Scottish economy that is built on values for the benefit of people, place and planet.”
