World-renowned Dundee-based company welcomes Scottish Enterprise chief executive
Realtime Worlds will welcome Scottish Enterprise chief executive, Lena Wilson today (12 March) to learn more of the company’s ambitious future plans and discuss how Scottish Enterprise can best continue to support their drive for success.
Established in 2002, Realtime Worlds is a software technology company that specialises in the entertainment sector. It is responsible for some of the word’s best selling video games including the 2007 double-BAFTA winning hit ‘Crackdown’ and the global hit franchises ‘Lemmings’ and ‘Grand Theft Auto.’ The company was recently successful in achieving £250k in Regional Selective Assistance in support of 20 jobs, further boosting its capacity to capitalise on new and emerging opportunities.

As part of her visit to the company Lena will meet with Gary Dale CEO, Realtime Worlds who said: “I’m looking forward to welcoming Lena and the Scottish Enterprise team. They have been a fundamental part of our success and we hope to show them first hand the results of their support.
Scottish Enterprise has worked with Realtime Worlds on a range of support activities and strategic developments. It is the largest games company in Scotland and employs circa 300 people.
During her trip Lena will visit Cyclacel, a key player in Scotland’s Life Sciences Sector. This visit will provide the opportunity for her to meet Cyclacel’s most senior representatives in Scotland, learn more about their future plans and focus on the theme of internationalisation. She will also visit Highland Spring, the UK's leading produced brand of bottled water, based in Blackford, Perthshire.
